Recording the song

 In order to record the song, we set up a keyboard, microphone and a mixing/ recording desk. The whole process took around 3 hours. half an hour to set up the equipment, around another half an hour to an hour for Jazz to rehearse the song with out the recording and the remaining time for Jazz to record and re- record different variations of the track.

First we recorded the piano backing track so that Jazz was able to sing along with the music. we did different versions of the piano, different timings and tempo until we decided on one that fit best with the visual picture (in our imaginations!) and Jazz's singing.

The tempo of the music is what decides the tempo of the music video concurrent with it therefore it was extremely important to find the right rhythm and build up in order to create the feeling that we want for the pace of the video. This is why we recorded the track before filming.
